At the Chesterfield Food Bank Outreach Center, our mission goes far beyond providing food— we are committed to fighting hunger and empowering lives. Across Chesterfield, thousands of families face food insecurity, and every day, CFBOC rises to meet that challenge with programs that feed the body and uplift the spirit.
But none of it happens without volunteers.
Volunteers Make It Possible
From packing bags to delivering meals, every role plays a vital part in CFBOC’s mission to fight hunger and empower lives. Whether you’re looking to lend a hand once a month or hoping to get more involved on a regular basis, there’s a place for you here—and plenty of our neighbors will be better off because of it.
Meeting Students Where They Are
Hunger doesn’t stop at the school doors. That’s why CFBOC’s School Pantry Program was created—to provide free access to food and personal care items directly inside Chesterfield County Public Schools. These pantries meet students where they are—no questions, no paperwork, just support.
As this program grows, so does the need for helping hands. That’s where the School Pantry Restock Volunteer Team comes in. We are currently seeking dedicated volunteers to support our School Pantry Restock initiative. This flexible opportunity is ideal for those who want to make a tangible impact on the lives of local students and families.
More Ways to Give Your Time
Not sure the School Pantry Program is the right fit? We offer several other volunteer opportunities to match your interests and availability:
General Volunteer Program – Support warehouse operations, food distributions, mobile pantries, and special events.
Skilled Volunteer Program – Use your specific talents and professional skills to support our organization’s work.
Community Service Program – Designed for individuals completing court-ordered, academic, or work-related service hours.
Client Plus Program – Allows qualifying clients to give back while receiving support.

Together, We Can Do More
Every hour you volunteer helps a family in need. Every delivery keeps a student focused on learning instead of worrying about their next meal. When you give your time to the Chesterfield Food Bank Outreach Center, you join a movement of neighbors helping neighbors—and you remind someone they’re not alone.
Let’s build a hunger-free Chesterfield - together.
