Thanks to the incredible generosity of Chesterfield residents and the support of over 50 local restaurants, Chesterfield Restaurant Week 2025 raised nearly $17,000 - enough to provide almost 70,000 meals for our neighbors in need.
Held April 4th-13th and hosted by the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce with support from Experience Chesterfield, this 10-day culinary celebration offered more than just delicious dishes - it delivered hope.
We are honored to have once again been chosen as the beneficiary of this impactful event. Community-driven partnerships like this play a vital role in our mission to fight hunger and empower lives.
"This partnership perfectly embodies the spirit of community collaboration that makes Chesterfield County special," says Kim Hill, Executive Director of Chesterfield Food Bank Outreach Center. "When local businesses come together to support their neighbors in need, we create a stronger, more resilient community for everyone."
Local restaurant owners were not only generous with their support—they were deeply moved by the mission. Tillary and Sal Buffa, owners of Riptides and The Reserve, shared why participating meant so much to them:
"We are thrilled to collaborate with Chesterfield Food Bank Outreach Center for multiple reasons. Our local food bank delivers sustenance to individuals who are struggling to afford the basics. By doing so, we aspire to motivate others to pay it forward and cultivate a community of love, kindness, and compassion. The food bank volunteers offer a warm smile and a comforting presence to those struggling with hunger and food insecurities, exemplifying the true spirit of generosity. They are incredible individuals to work with. We are honored to participate in this remarkable endeavor, recognizing that food is the universal language of love."
From casual favorites to chef-driven destinations, the restaurants of Chesterfield stepped up in a big way, and so did the community. Every meal enjoyed during Restaurant Week helped feed a neighbor, uplift a family, and strengthen the fabric of our county.
As we work toward a hunger-free Chesterfield, this event reminds us of the power we have when we come together. To every restaurant owner who participated, every diner who chose to support the cause, and every partner who helped bring it to life - thank you. Your impact is real, and it matters. Together, we are creating a stronger, more compassionate Chesterfield - one meal, one partnership, and one act of kindness at a time.
